Clock from St Peter, Zurich

Here is a rough, but working, recreation of the clock from the tower of St Peter in Zurich.
For full effect, I have uploaded some wallpapers to sit it on; the second screenshot gives some idea of the effect. The wallpapers are based on a photograph by "Roland zh" which can be found at: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Zürich_-_Münsterbrücke_-_Meisen_-_St._Peter_IMG_0401.JPG
For the clock-face to sit correctly on the tower, you need to make sure that the wallpaper is centred only (not scaled), so there are three versions of the wallpaper for different screen aspect ratios at:

16:9 http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=114615
16:10 http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=114618
After downloading, there are several ways to get the svg clock into your system. If you're not comfortable playing with the KDE config directories, the most straightforward way is to go into your KDE settings -> Advanced Tab -> Desktop Theme Details and change the Analogue Clock to come from a file (see screenshot 3). After that a dialogue box will open reminding you that you also need to change your desktop theme to (Customised).
Of course, if you are comfortable with playing with your KDE directories, just copy this file into the widgets directory of your favourite desktoptheme. Then log out and log in again.
Enjoy ...
