Here is a modified KDE plastik looknfeel theme for SE k700i telephones. Original was done by Matthias Wetzka. I hope u like it.

Inner structure of the .THM file is reorganized. (No sub directories in the tar).

The theme is really nicely done, I like it very much!

And it's even more cool to see people modifying my art and republishing it again! Btw: the original and first K700i theme can be found here: http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=17750

Thank you for your theme. BTW I found it not here but I think on your personal site, and it was a theme for Opie, AFAIR. Very cool theme, congrats! :) It makes me feel like I was using a cool KDE Linux desktop ;)

I've just tried the updated theme - I sent it to my phone by email again exactly as before and I'm pleased to say it works fine.

I've had the phone around a month so I would imagine it is fairy recent.

I think you have R2AA003 sw, which is recent. I've got R2AE033 ..., which maybe newer, but Im not sure. I will post a recompressed quartiary download for you.. i hope it will work...

I downloaded the correct theme for my phone and, since I don't have blutooth or a data cable on my comp, I unzipped it and sent it to my phone by email.
I have sent many themes to my phone this way and they have all worked fine.
Is there something I need to do with the .thm file before I send it?

Sorry, I dont know why it doesnt work. :( I will try to recompress it for you in my root directory... maybe the Software on your phone doesnt support this kind of theme creator? (Basicly they are all the same... i am just guessing...) DO you have a recent SW?

I've just put this theme on my k700i but I've just got plastik style buttons at the bottom, no background, no "taskbar/panel", no menus, nothing.
Is there a wap site I can go to on my phone to try and get it?

are you sure you downloaded the first one which is for k700i? It is zipped, and must be zipped out, and then sent to your mobile. It must work!

Yes, I downloaded the right theme, unzipped it and sent it to my mobile via email since I don't have bluetooth or infrared on my comp.
I have sent quite a few themes to my phone by email and they have all worked fine.
I have also tried redownloading and sending again but it looks the same.
Is there anything I need to do to the .thm
file before I send it?

Now, here is a k500i version of the theme, but it is not tested, and the blue/white stripped menu may not fit at all. So please test, and if you have time modify it with mtc (http://www.myforum.lasyk.net/showthread.php?t=7839)

I have tried to convert it, but it is not so easy, because k500i has other pic sizes. :( I will try to do it, but I cannot test it. I will post if I have some result.

I think it is not good for k500i. But if I will have time on the next week, I will try to convert it to k500i format for you with mTC (myThemeCreator, is on net, so you can do any theme you like. It has Linux version too.). I hope the conversion will go well.. :)
