To install the config dialog you must execute the following commands:

mkdir -p ~/.local/share/kservices5
ln -s ~/.local/share/kwin/scripts/Parachute/metadata.desktop ~/.local/share/kservices5/Parachute.desktop

Great update!! very useful search.
But I wish that the orientation of the desktops panel could be selected (by the user).
At this moment the panel is displayed vertical on the right, but it would be better if it was shown as in the previous version (horizontal above) maybe just below the search box. It would be great if you had the option to make the change :)

Yes, the activities support was not complete and so it was removed completely in version 0.9.0. My intention is to add it again in the next version, after fixing some problems. Not Like Others Who Like Gnome Style Workspace / Windows Task View / Mac Style Mission Control,
I'm Using Activities As Workspace, Desktop As Screen Extend By Using Edge Switch,
It's Really Powerful Than Any Other Desktop Environment In The World.
But KDE Plasma Still Doesn't Have Move Window To Activities, So I Can Understand Your Script Too.
If This Script Has That Two Functions Mentioned Above, Then It's Good Enough.

10 One of the things i miss the most from Mac was the Mission Control multitasking manager, and this fills that role perfectly. On older hardware, the framerate slowed down to a chug, but when I installed it on a macbook pro 8,1 it worked beautifully. There's a few things that would be nice to include, like the inclusion of application launcher panels and whatnot, and also the ability to configure moving between desktops with libinput gestures, but those don't detract from the excellent work here. I look forward to this project's development.

Transitioning from GNOME, this was dearly missed. Thank you! Alas, I experience sluggishness in all animations, to the degree that I would prefer to have them fully disabled. There are some features I miss: KRunner integration, displaying desktops in a grid (not only a line), and Present Windows' option to close windows though mouse clicks.

It's about time KDE got a decent overview :) Keep up the good work! Parachute does exactly what I want and is near-perfect even though it's still only pre-release. I'm looking forward to no longer having to use CTRL+F8 and CTRL+F9 :)

This is a solid Kwin Script! This does exactly what it claims to and it looks great as well. There are some issues but its super early days so it is very impressive how well it works on such a short project lifespan. Please, keep it up! I am loving it so far!

9 excellent I prefer this over the default desktop overview. Only some animations aren't 100% smooth. I wold also like to see integrated krunner or start menu because now I have 3 shortcuts (start, krunner, parachute) and IMO it could easily be reduce to 2 or, with more effort, even to 1.

10 the best I've been waiting for this! I used KWinOverview for a while, then the dev didn't have time to improve it and it was kinda buggy, but seeing this made me really happy. This is the best thing I've seen for months. Kudos and keep up the development! I hope it gets into mainstream Plasma one day! If you want it, I could make a plasmod for it that opens it through DBus. Similar to Present Windows plasmoid. I can also make a symbolic icon which would look nice with Breeze.
