Description:

Corrected version of Thermal Monitor widget.

Now the processor temperature displays normally. - (https://github.com/roachsinai)
All thanks to these people. I just applied them and packaged the widget.

Hi, not sure if this was reported before, but on my laptop I appear to have "too many sensors" showing up in the list. As such, I am unable to see what's below all that and I cannot drag the window up any higher. Is it possible to add a vertical scroll bar of some sort?

Good day. Now I started to parse the code of the original widget (this is a fork for compatibility with new versions). I'll see if it's possible to add such a datasource and try to implement it as soon as possible.

one of my SSD have 2 thermal sensor, and one is disable. This program is using only the disabled one... showing always 99°C

I tried the widget on other SSD, different model, but also Kingston... and the same problems. Those disks have 2 thermal sensors, and the program is reading the disabled sensor only

also, everytime I boot, all lmsensors are OFF, and I have to "reload temperature sources" to get them work

Won't show temperature of System HDD, which is on Mini-PCie-NVMe-SSD-EVO...in fact nvme doesn't show up at all, just udisks/...

7 Monitors well, thanks. I just wonder why the widget cannot just align itself vertically while everything else is aligned.

8 To me it worked perfectly even without the fix I didn't have any crashes.
Only problem also with the fix I have to reload the sources at each reboot or start.
Load only the sensor of the sata hdd with udisk and that of nvidia, the others need the reload.
As far as SSDs are concerned, there are sensors, in all only that they are located at the different smart attribute, my KINGSTONE has the sensor read by udisk at 231 and is fixed at 84 while the real temperature one is at 194. HDDTEM reads the right sensor on both HDD and SSD, only Thermal does not implement HDDTEMP,
so to have the SSD sensor I had to install PSENSOR which reads both udisk and hddtem, on the other hand as it is placed in the activity tray it does not allow you to have the temperatures on the panel, (or maybe I am not able).
If it were possible to implement hddtemp in thermal monitor it would be perfect, and even superior to Psensor, since the latter only puts the temperatures on the panel without knowing what they are referring to.

9 Thanks for this! I was worried with those crashes. But now I have a problem, don't know if this is related to the original package, but my SSDs temperatures are wrong. I have 4, my Linux one is showing 99ºC all the time, it was fine before, and my new NVME SSD is "OFF". The other two are correct. Any help?

Good day. Thank you for your feedback. Most likely your SSD does not have a temperature sensor, so it displays such data (mine is the same). So don't worry. SSD cannot overheat.

10 This is quite an important widget for me personally. Very handy, with no extra cumbersome charts, it only shows the temperature of the devices you choose: CPU, graphics card, SSD and so on. Thank you! I really don't know any decent alternatives to this thing. 10/10!
