SteampunK KDM Theme
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work): Add the source-code for this project on opencode.net
This item is a part of Steam-Powered Linux KDE theme set.
The idea is to apply steampunk style to every themeable part of KDE-based distro. Any constructive feedback is highly appreciated. I will try to implement your propositions/fix bugs once I have spare time.

I mean, nothing is going to beat Steam Powered Linux.
That is WAY into the future.
This theme is just awesome. I really have to control myself to keep the caps lock down... ;)

What is your reason for wanting to keep it NC?
That forbids anyone to ship it on a physical CD with KDE… and once you get contributions, you can’t ever get away from the NC again (without asking all contributors), so your theme could never get into KDE as one of the default themes.

I am not sure why developers here refuse to test their work for all valid versions of KDE. Laziness most likely.

You posted the addon under KDE4 not under KDE4.xx.xx so any themes here should be working for KDE4 regardless of what version the user has. This is what I am trying to get across to you and other developers here.

~ cons
i have a 2 displays setup and when i log in kde, on my secondary display I see the same login screen like on my primary one, execpt the user/pass data.
Please leave the secondary displays blank or with some simple wallpaper. Now it's a fake login screen.

Is there any error message?
What is your display resolution? Do you have problems with other themes?

I've noticed similar problems in other overlapped animations and had to change these animations so they do not overlap, but dynamo and lamps are working fine on my system. May be it is some problem of KSplash engine. Can you provide more detailed description of your system, like OS, screen resolution?
