ZeroFile

This is a simple Konqueror context menu action that makes it easy to truncate, or "zero out" the contents of a file without deleting the file itself. If you're wondering what this is good for, you probably don't need it. I, however, created this to scratch the itch I had where I wanted to keep a record of certain large files I had downloaded, but didn't want to keep the bulky data around. By keeping the empty file in the filesystem -- moved to a "zeroed" subdir, for example -- it's easy to search for later using 'locate'.
To install, type:
make install
To uninstall:
make uninstall
Two things get installed: 1) the zerofile.desktop menu, and 2) a konqzerofile.sh script which uses kdialog to ask for confirmation before truncating the selected files (with 'cat /dev/null > "filename"').
Since this is a potentially dangerous menu action, it is only meant to be installed to the user's KDE dir, and not system-wide.

The dialog comes up and says the file is zerod but it isn't.
