If you theme your Plasma to look more like regular Oxygen-themed apps and to honor system colors, the monochrome icons must stick out like a sore thumb!
@Kame2: I see you have partially done system tray icons (a variation on the monochrome theme) which aren't used yet. Would you be interested in using these instead? They're under the same license as the Oxygen icon theme itself (LGPLv3+).

But if you see a usecase for Oxywin with your icons included, feel free to modify my theme and put your variant her on kde-look.org.

I'm using the default version for Plasma 4.5.0 (and KDE 4.5.0...). Now, I'm a heavy user of Kontact and uses the calender quite extensively.
I keep the digital clock in a top-panel. When I click on it, a calendar panel slides down. In the default theme (AIR, but slightly modified by Suse) dates with events are shown in bold in that calendar. With your theme there is no indication of which dates are linked to an event. I can see the events themselves if I let the mouse pointer hover above the date in question though.
Could you please fix that?

I tried both the Oxywin and Oxywin without background pattern (my preference).
I have the Digital Clock configured to show date, day of week, and year. I have it on the right-hand side, next to the system tray.
When I apply the Oxywin Desktop Theme, the items on the Taskbar/panel continually redraw. I had to reapply the Oxygen Theme.
I removed the Digital Clock and applied the Oxywin Desktop Theme and it was okay. I re-added the Digital Clock with the defaults and it was okay. The problem started when I added all 3, Date, Day of Week, and Year. The Oxywin Theme is okay with 2 of them, but not 3.
Some sort of sizing/padding problem? I also had this problem with the Glassified theme.

The more I try tweaking my desktop, the more confusing this gets. I have opensuse 11.2 on a VM w/kde 4.3.5. The VM did not have the problem, so I didn't upgrade to kde 4.4. On my main machine, I also have 11.2 w/kde 4.3.5, but I had the problem. I started comparing things to narrow it down. I tried many things, including turning off effects (which the VM doesn't have). When I increased the Height of the Taskbar/Panel (it seems like the default is 35px), I couldn't get Oxywin to fail, at all, even when I put the Height back. Now that things seemed settled on the desktop, I think I'll leave everything alone. Thank you so much. Nice theme!

There's only one thing: the plasmoids in the desktop have the oxygen's black background, and not the one i see in your screenshots
