As Cinnamon doesn’t come with a mouse theme of its own, I decided to combine Linux Mint’s fresh color with the cute Tux cursor of MasterSeven, just to give the common mascot of all distros the look of the most favorite of them.
However, the cursor set should work on most distros as it is based on the standard DMZ White cursor theme (in Trusty’s version 0.4.4ubuntu1). The Tux figures besides the color-picker and the sb_{up,down}_arrow are all animated, and the drag-and-drop cursors play on the egg theme, culminating in the egg cup for xterm, which is much more visible in any program than the usual text cursor. The rest — that you won’t see that often ;-) — is just minty…
Please follow the instructions in the README file within the archive in order to install the cursor theme — and then, enjoy Tux’ company!

v1.0: Cursor set (based on the 2003 versions) completed and mintyfied, with the sizes all adjusted. (Tux gets now angry only when he's enclosed within a window.) Drag & Drop "egg" theme with corresponding text cursor added.
v0.4: MasterSeven's resizable cursor set http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Resizeable+Tux+Cursor!?content=5376 with the friendly face.
v0.2: MasterSeven's fixed-size cursor set http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Tux+Cursor!?content=5359 with the aggressive face.
