It's always great when someone designs their theme with xfce in mind as I and others tend to choose that environment to work in.
Thanks. - Dec 06 2010

Ideas on correcting these problems??

However I would have liked the scroll bar to be black. Is there a way to create that effect??
Thanks for the effort! - Nov 17 2010

Otherwise I deeply appreciate your efforts.
If there is a way to remove "Old School" and it's emblem from appearing in every menu I'd appreciate learning how to do that.
Thanks again!! - Nov 16 2010

One more thing, within xfce, when either MG 3 or MG SlicknesS are used the Gnome terminal and xfce terminal crashes only xterm is available. Once I switch to a different theme then I recover the use of the Gnome terminal.
Any ideas why this happens?? - Sep 23 2010

Could you include xfwm4 format within your package for this theme when you are ready??
I'd most appreciate it as your efforts are one of the best available here.
Thanks again!! - Sep 01 2010

I use xfce primarily. It would be neat if you could produce the same kind of window theme which appears in your preview which will work in xfce. Such an effort would have to be in xfwm4.
Hopefully you can do it.

I've installed it onto my system (Yellow Dog Linux 6.2) and I really, really like how it appears. I like EVERYTHING about it!
Everyone has their own ideas regarding matching icon sets for their themes but I'm going to recommend either Azenis Purple or any one of the Alienware Icon themes.
Interesting... I recall that Deep Purple was a Rock Group famous in the late 60's and early 70's. By all means keep up your delightful insight and vision!! I don't know I'll need to gravitate towards any other theme but man I'm excited to discover what else you may have in your imagination that you may chose to share here with the rest of us.
Thanks!! Soooo much.
PS. A matching cursor in my view could be either Pulse Glass or Aggressor.
Every needs to work within the environment one feels best in. Believe in your work!!
Really very good work.

Unless of course, something applies differently in your region of the Earth.
Maybe a Black Hole opened up in Europe causing a prolonged time dilation?
...I didn't think so.
I guess you'll get to it whenever it becomes important.
Enough said.

I'm using Yellow Dog Linux which is can be rather difficult to develop a working theme for. Your work had no problem at the first time it was selected.
I was hoping that there were more elements of green, but I appreciate your vision of how it was implemented. I wanted more but your choice to minimize it's presence to produce an theme environment which is both stylish yet understated for the professional programming environment is something I really appreciate.
Thanks. - Aug 27 2010

Whatever cyberdimension Sabco resides in I hope that s/he receives many accolades!!
Question:
Do you have the means to adjust the font appearance so that within an app like Claws Mail the font appears either against a dark background or the font becomes darker upon a light background?
I've noticed that in some cases a the font becomes so dark that it appears against a "dark wood background" which makes it very difficult to read.
Suggestions would be appreciated. Otherwise I'd work in Antique all the time. - Aug 15 2010
- Aug 13 2010

I found no reliable descriptions whether they were available for PowerPC based Linux. I researched further confirming my suspicion that these packages are for x86 systems only:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1477842
Ubuntu of course, stopped supporting powerpc systems officially a long time ago. Too bad.
Nice work though. - May 11 2010
Reminds me of that period of night just as it slowly yields to the dawn. I miss that panorama as I live in the city; thanks for developing a theme which reminds me of something so grand.

I had to unpack several themes and move the unpacked folders to a higher hierarchical level within .themes before XFCE could use and utilize them though.

It just looks great.
For now, I've abandoned XFCE; I believe I broke XFCE in my attempts trying to get your themes to work as nicely as they do in Gnome.
You do great work!! It's so good I want to use them in environments perhaps which are not so "nice or friendly".
