I don't know how complete KPackageKit is at this time, but at least here on Debian Squeeze I can't update or install with KPackageKit. On those operations it shows a small progress dialog that says ""Simulating the install" and an error message that says "The package was not found". I can update and install using pkcon though. Have I done something wrong or is this normal on Debian? - Dec 08 2009

Wanted to try PackageKit and KPackageKit, and I managed to build and install everything. But when I start KPackageKit for the first time first screen is empty with only buttons Help, Defaults, Reset and Apply. What could be wrong? Please help!! - Dec 06 2009
