I would like to make some Plasma themes, but have not figured out how they work. They appear to be made in pieces and those pieces stored in different places. Maybe I will seek out a KDE-tutor. - Oct 26 2020
I no longer will theme GNOME desktop, however.
I will need to look into the Fedora Updates icon as I never used Fedora before. I am sure I can find the icon shortly.

A reminder should be: The Gnu General License encourages Free Software - Free from restrictiveness and non-user Control. I believe that themes and Icon sets are a Strong Message in favor of Free Software.

Updating the icons or making the themes has helped me learn how to take control of my desktop -or at least take some of it back. Along the way, I share my experiments in learning in case others can enjoy the results. Though it partly is why I REALLY appreciate it when those thta download notify if something is wrong.
I have thought about setting up a patreon acct before... But the idea seemed silly. Maybe I should consider it, if that allows me to sometimes take time off work to do something I enjoy and others can enjoy and learn a lot more, faster. - Aug 30 2020
I moved over to Linux around the beginning of last year. I had never heard of Azenis or GnoMenu. By the time I got with the program, all of it was a thing of the past. And the more I looked around, the more it looked like that was a trend that would not only continue, but sharpen.
I had hoped that if my novice self could clobber together some poor, but working themes, I may inspire others to do the same. I have never been a complacent type of person and I like to stand up to what I see if wrong.
Demanding control over users desktops is wrong, even if we can call it Right to enjoy diversity and customization.
Now, I am using Zorin 15.3 and rocking multiple sets of icons, some uploaded here, some not. I have an App Menu rewritten and customized to closely resemble the GnoMenu and I uploaded some means of doins similar for Arc menu, Zorin Menu, Whisker Menu, Stark Menu and Cinnamenu- with varying degrees of failure.
We can rock if we want to, no matter what others try to seize control of. - Aug 26 2020
Este tema es uno de mis favoritos personales. Si disfrutas de temas muy oscuros, mantente atento a un próximo proyecto, "Azenis-Black", que es un remake "desde cero" de Azenis con muchas correcciones y en tonos muy oscuros.
This theme is one of my personal favorites. If you enjoy very dark themes, keep an eye out for an upcoming project, "Azenis-Black" which is a "from the ground up" remake of Azenis with many fixes and in very dark tones. - Aug 10 2020

Many thanks to JamesHardy88 and Tiggz for their provision and creation of the theme over a decade ago. - Aug 03 2020
Nor get paid for it in order to spend that much time on it. Maybe I should start up a patreon account...

I was still unable to replicate any Window Border issues, with multiple themes including Azenis, Empire and this one.
I examined the Metacity files and both of the above use Metactity3.
Can you give any details as to how the Border was not working correctly? - Jun 14 2020

That said... I thought I remembered making the VLC icon- specifically because it gave me a bit of trouble in copying and I had to reformat it. Maybe I am thinking of Empire set- but I will check.

This was my effort at bringing it up to speed for newer Desktop Environments. I don't know about talent... I have done this with several themes to teach myself and to develop more independence in my own desktop look, whichever desktop I use at a moment. The design and most of the imagery is original to the Original Authors with only necessary modifications to conform to GTK3. I have not been doing much with themes lately, as I focus on work and other projects (Mostly automotive and mechanical) and by the time I sit down at a computer to do Computer work, I will probably have forgotten the css I learned in doing these :D - May 08 2020
Many O.A.'s have moved on to other interests and are unresponsive.
And I often point out in my "Creations" that others may take them, use them, improve them, redesign them and distribute them as they wish.
This particular piece is a Ten-minute slap together to address one persons concern and is certainly NOT a replacement to the extensive work done by PaulXFCE.
When it comes to Open source, creative commons and public Domain, that is how it works.
If PaulXFCE sees this and requests that it be taken down, I certainly will comply- And I will think less of him for it.
