Actually there is no need for this, you can run two(or more) conky at one time.
For example, you can open the ~/.config/conky/start_conky.sh file and put the line like this:
conky -c /path/to/your/conky/file
Then run:
~/.config/conky/start_conky.sh - Oct 10 2010

So as i understood, the conky starts, but displays only a blank image with a vinyl, without a cover in it? But if the conkyCover.png changes with the current song, so it have to be in the conky...that's strange. Please try to run in the terminal:
killall conky
~/.config/conky/start_conky.sh
And say if there will be any error output. - Oct 10 2010

I havent't tested it with last.fm covers. I got the covers in my artits' folders(like "folder.jpg"). Make sure that you've enabled the "Fetch from local folder" checkbox in the Album Artwork plugin settings. Then go to Help - > Help and read how to enable the cover art.
Finally you will have something like this:

It takes the cover from Deadbeef's cache, that means if you have the cover in Deadbeef so you'll have it in the conky. If there is no cover in deadbeef, so the coverConky.png will be just blank. - Oct 10 2010

Gksu is a part of the GNOME project. So i'm really surprised that Fedora doesn't have this app in the repositories. And as far as i can see this is a really old problem. On the Fedora forums, people advice to use a beesu instead of the Gksu on Fedora, so probably i'll add support for the beesu, so the Fedora users will use it instead of the gksu. - Oct 04 2010

If you use Compiz, so you can configure the transparency for the window border.
Run in terminal "gconf-editor". Go to apps -> gwd
For the "metacity_theme_active_opacity" set the value less than 1( e.g. "0.85").
This will make the active window border transparent.
For the inactive window border transparency change the "metacity_theme_opacity" value. - Sep 28 2010

The theme doesn't work because you have an old Murrine engine.
There are the packages for Fedora 13:
http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Murrine+GTK%2B+Engine+for+Fedora?content=122064
I don't know if they are good for Fedora 12 ( as i'm not a Fedora user), if not, so you have to build the engine manually. - Sep 28 2010

Ok, it is strange, becouse there are a lot of Ubuntu Lucid users(actually I use it on Ubuntu Lucid) and you are the first who tells me this.

The gtk2-engines-murrine, that comes with Ubuntu Lucid by default is not the latest murrine engine(and the theme don't work with it), that's why i told you, that your murrine engine is not up to date.

Ok, please lets try it one more time,
1. Add elegant gnome ppa
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:elegant-gnome/ppa
2. Update your package base
sudo apt-get update
3. Install the elegant gnome
sudo apt-get install elegant-gnome

That's it. In the end, open the Synaptic, find gtk2-engines-murrine package and make sure that it got this version:
0.91.0+git20100912~ppa1~lucid1 - Sep 27 2010

Fist of all, your Murrina engine was NOT up to date.
Second thing, there is the Ubuntu PPA, so this a secret for me, why you have installed it from sources.

Quote:It isn't possible to restore the old theme, because of an error "Please uninstall GDM2 first"
Is this a joke? The application said you, that you must restore the GDM2 settings first, before restoring the other settings. So you had to click "Configure GDM2 theme -> Restore GDM2 settings" and then restore the other stuff.

If you're talking about the panel, so right click on it, Properties, choose the background tab and choose None.

Sorry, but all the problems that you had, you've done by yourself. - Sep 26 2010

Ok, It looks like I have to explain some basics.
The Skype application is not a GTK app, this is a Qt application, wich actually is not even opensource. All the colors that you don't like can't be controllable by the theme, coz the color values are hardcoded in application's sources. So the skype will have this colors with any Gtk theme. - Sep 26 2010
