As a followup, i note that the chrome theme uses the same carbon weave (checker board) for the tabs, which matches the window decorations. I'd love to see the tabs in gtk 3 apps match that and for the tab panel to be lighter. - Sep 27 2013

I just love this theme! It's subtle for the most part, nice and dark greys which i love and the purple is just perfect!

My only negative is that i think that the tabs and tab panels are too dark. If you look at the sound settings in gnome 3.8 it's just too dark. It makes the panels and tabs look like and afterthought without a smoother transition, especially since the shine on the tops of the tabs looks more intense than on other buttons.

But i just love it other than that, and can't wait to see what's next. It's my theme for the foreseeable future. The window decorations are nice and thin so they don't interfere with my tiling plugin too much either.

Any chance of a chrome theme to match the purple version of the gtk3 theme? - Sep 26 2013

Like a few others, it's just a bar sitting there. Pulseaudio is working just fine.

I've adjusted volumes and nothing makes it move. I have an hdmi card and switching to that doesn't make it move either. No error messages in terminal when run. I see a "cimpulse" under the Applications tab of the pulse audio sound preferences, but moving that slider doesn't do anything to make it move either.

pulseaudio: 0.9.19
fftw: 3.2.2
screenlets: 0.1.2
kernel 2.6.31

Any ideas at all?

The icon themes included with the package are similar but not the same. The icon theme that is used in the screen shots appears to be Token, but again it's not included in the package.

The silent night itunes theme looks very very similar to aspects of this theme, but again, it's not identical. Some o the shading is different. However, it's close enough that i think a nod should be given to it in the description. Even the theme name suggests that. All that would be needed would be an "Inspired by Silent Night for Itunes [link]".

There is one issue i can't figure out on my own. I'm using the Scrollbars folder from the light theme. I've changed the GtkVscale::slider_length and width to match the light theme and done that for the Hscale as well. I've copied the scrollbar style from the light theme to it as well.

Still, the slider goes past the end of the inset in the trough. Either the trough needs to lengthen somehow or the slide needs to not slide as far.

Thanks for the 3rd emerald theme! I've made a mash-up of the dark and light themes: mostly the dark one but using the scroll bars, arrows and sliders from the light theme to match the title bar graphics, as well as the icon theme from the light set. It looks fantastic.

Although, in a few years i'll be 40 and this theme may not be as usable to me forever :") - Jan 09 2010

Wow! I just found my new cursor theme. It looks great with Silent Night II found here:

The only thing i would change is the animation to default pointer. Is it possible to animate *back* to the default pointer instead of an abrupt change from another cursor type or is that not possible? I'm thinking the same animations in reverse to return to the default cursor.

using gtk+2 version 2.18.1 and gtk-engines2 2.18.4 (even though it's only pixmap and svg) does not work. I also have librsvg 2.2.26 installed.

I get no buttons, and if i have it active the gnome appearance settings crash when i try to open them.

Wow! Using 0.7, i find this has got to be the coolest script ever. I've loved the idea of the lyrics wiki and you have made it easy to submit tons of lyrics. With your work, they lyriki site with have a usable collection of lyrics in no time.
