All though I havent seen the KDE version it probably doesent have the same quality the MAC has. On the other hand the MAC Exposee on older MACs doesent run super smoth einther(on G4's with 32MB ATI Grafik Cards). My Guess is that there must be more perfomence in the grafik server(x.org, xfree86, xWhatever).
But don't get me wrong I cant wait to have that feature and I love it.
Keep up the good work.

The Open With and changing permission don't have anything to do with each other.
If you have Read permissions the dialog won't aperar.
If you don't have read Permissions the dialog will popup befor the "opening with" dialog will come.

Well that could happen I supose. But then again there could be a Warning saying that Opening unknown Fils could be dangerus.
The mauel Change of rights doesent make it safer. If the User knows what he can do, he will do it. If the User doesent he might be glad to get help from the System. - Dec 21 2003

I must disagree! They are too MacOS-like! Mac had such Icons long before Windows had them.
But One thing is different in comparison to the Windows/MacOS versions, most of my have a transparent background.

Thanks for the good comment. I am still looking for more motives to use. I will eventualy add more Icons.
Providing higher resolution is no problem but I found that my Suse only displays 48x48 pixels. I diden't figure out yet how to increase the size in KDM. - Jun 29 2003
