Your comment is obviously meant to be sarcastic, but why on earth would they? Why would you want them to? - Dec 04 2007

Just so you know, there is a problem with the home and desktop icons in the "Places" menu when using Ubuntu Gutsy. They show up as the standard Gnome icons instead of yours.

But, this is only in the places menu. In nautilus, they are fine. - Oct 31 2007

Wallpapers Ubuntu by adcalian 1 comment

I really like it.

I think I might like it better without the penguin, but that's just my preference.

It would also be cool to have one in blue, both for kubuntu and for ubuntu users who prefer blue.

Just a thought. - Oct 14 2007
Not sure how to install this... I have ClearWeather installed. To where do I extract the blue theme? - Oct 12 2007
Clear Weather Screenlet

The problem is you're using gdesklets, and this is made for screenlets; two different programs. - Oct 12 2007

One other thing I didn't mention in my first post:

It might be nice to have a version in which the title text is in the middle of the window rather than on the left side.

Also, I installed the latest version, and now both computers look the same. - Oct 12 2007

Metacity Themes by -BuRn- 7 comments

I love it!

For some reason, though, it looks different on my laptop than on my desktop, even when using the same gtk them and icon theme.

I'm not sure why... One looks shiny like the murrine them, and the other looks more flat, like a clearlooks theme or something.

I have no idea why this is the case, but I like it either way. - Oct 12 2007
You should change the name so Ubuntu users don't keep viewing this and end up disappointed and/or frustrated that it doesn't apply to them. - Oct 11 2007

The only problem I have with this icon theme is that it doesn't keep a good resolution when icons on the desktop are stretched. For example, I like making my trash and home icons a bit bigger, but with this theme, they get distorted. If you can fix this, you will have my favorite them anywhere. - Oct 06 2007

Icon Sub-Sets by 89c51 6 comments

I like it and am using it.

The only thing I would change is to widen the trash can a bit. It is a bit too narrow, and even though that is unique, it makes it look awkward next to other desktop icons, such as drives, etc. - Oct 02 2007

There are no icons for Open Office. I'm left with text instead of icons.

Everything else is really good. Too bad about this bug. - Sep 24 2007
Human (Revised)

KDE 3 Color Schemes by OneWingedAngel 1 comment

This is one of the nicest looking color schemes I've seen. Wonderful job adjusting human enough to make it different while still matching and staying faithful to the original.

Great Work! - May 02 2007

First off, thanks for your work. It's great!

However, the theme manager package does not seem to work in Kubuntu Edgy or Feisty, and I was wondering if you could put the color scheme you use separately.

I don't mean to beg or anything, because I am certainly grateful for what you've already done. But, if you have free time :) - May 02 2007

Thanks to the developers who have made this software. It's incredibly helpful for me.

As to the debate that's going on, this is hardly the forum for that, I think. We should be using this space to be helping the developers make improvements by giving helpful feedback.

When I click download, I'm linked to a bunch of text.

What do I do with this? Copy it to a file, I assume, but what type of file? Sorry, I'm new to KDE and unsure of what to do next. - Apr 24 2007

I miss the minimize / maximize buttons. It would be even better with them.

However, I really appreciate the uniqueness of your work! Nice job! - Feb 18 2007

This is one of the best with Vista themes.

With blur effects enabled, the transparency is just about perfect.

I've been using this theme for over a month now, and I love it.

I use the metacity version on my notebook, and I altered a beryl theme to look like this one for my desktop.

I posted earlier about switching the buttons to the left, and that worked well.

However, one thing I've noticed is that the windows cannot be resized on the bottom corners.

I wish that were different. - Jan 09 2007

This is by far my favorite icon theme. I've been using it since I saw it, and I don't think I'll change soon!

However, I'd like to see a good icon for Gaim and Mozilla Thunderbird... those are pretty common programs, and they seem to be missing from this set.

Thanks for the cool work! - Jan 04 2007

I'd love to have this theme if the buttons were on the left.

I don't know how to do this... any chance you could do it and repost it? :P - Dec 19 2006
blueish glass

Beryl/Emerald Themes by nimix 7 comments

I'd love to see it in regular, clear glass. The only clear glass themes have the buttons on the left, which I don't care for - simply because I'm not used to it.

The blue limits the options for which GTK themes can be used.

Think you could make it in clear glass too? :P

All in all, it's a job well done, though! - Dec 06 2006

I downloaded your png file, and it looks good, but I'm curious what your GTK theme is as well.

I've been using Linsta, but when I have windows open, they show up as black on the taskbar, and I don't like that. - Nov 29 2006
