Add these lines to the bottom of the .cfg file (this one is lined up for the 1024x768 resolution, but you can adjust from this for the other resolutions):
box silent inter 24 421 24 425 #0xCCCCCC 0xCCCCCC #383849 #2e2e3d
box silent 24 421 421 425 #0xCCCCCC 0xCCCCCC #383849 #2e2e3d
By the way, this is the nicest fbsplash I've seen for gentoo. I made a gdm theme and wallpaper from it. - Jul 13 2007

"The filename "Battery_Charging.ogg" indicates that this file is of type "Ogg multimedia". The contents of the file indicate that the file is of type "MP3 audio. etc., etc."
However, I can play your "ogg" files with mpg123 (they sound nice, by the way).
I think maybe you converted the wav files to mp3 instead of ogg by accident.
If you would be so kind, could you replace these with a set of ogg files?
Thank you. :) - Jul 08 2007

I'd like to use this wallpaper, but I wouldn't want to seem insensitive by having a mis-spelled braille word on my screen-saver. I mean, it's potentially interpreted as a big joke -- how's a blind person to know, right? - Feb 07 2007

I'm sure that's not what you meant, but why leave it more likely to be interpreted that way? I'm sure you are anything but racist. - Feb 07 2007

a) The penquin is spanking the gentoo logo while doing it doggie-style.
b) The penguiin (Tux's mongloid, Special Olypics cousin) thinks the gentoo logo is a "horsie" and he's riding an imaginary rodeo. - Oct 11 2006

It rocks. I makes me feel. It colors my world with music. It's a package of power. It jams. But wrath?
It even gives me a smug sense of justice that Apple's culture of design worship has been finally rewarded with market success (the kind I felt the Newton deserved).
I'll probably get flamed for saying it, but I'd probably use this wallpaper if it said, "ipod: feel my balls". - May 11 2006

This is actually some nice artwork. It engenders a mood. The fact that you responded emotionally to it is the best indicator of that. Would I want it as MY desktop - no, but that doesn't mean I need to put it down. It's good art.
Now, if there was a way to isolate those items that might be to "adult" for some users, so they are only exposed to them voluntarily, that might be good. - Mar 06 2006
