I wish it had some kind of progress indicator to show SOMETHING was being done during the actual unpacking and install of the debs.

If a package requires interaction with the user during it's configuration, will Kynaptic pop up a window so you can do this??

I build KcheckGmail 0.5.2 against KDE 3.3.91 (beta 1) and KDELibs 3.3.91.

I keep getting a "Invalid username or password" error.

It refuses to work.

I am using KDE wallet. I have tried stopping and restarting KcheckGmail and it doesn't help.
