FYI, apparently there is a Debian swirl in the Faenza style already included. So if you select Debian the only issue is that it doesn't copy to start-here.png and you end up with the stock GNOME icon (which is nice too).

Here's what I did because I installed the icon theme as root.

cp start-here.png start-here.png.old
cp distributor-logo-debian.png start-here.png
killall gnome-panel

Selecting Debian after running install.sh resulted in the GNOME foot. Will this be replaced in future icon sets with the Debian swirl? By the way, this is without a doubt the best icon theme I have ever seen for GNOME. You do amazing stuff (icons, GTK engines). - Aug 03 2010

I kindle disagree. I looked at the source for nautilus-dropbox, changed all the icons, built a debian package, and nothing, still the same systray icons. The systray icons are wrapped up somewhere in the binary proprietary code. It's really kind of lame. - Nov 03 2009
