I don't remember the name of the wallpaper, I found it on this site. - Jun 10 2004

Packages are always nice. :) I don't need a deb myself, but if you would like to create one I would love to link/publish it on the site. - May 13 2004

I already had a look at your RSS sidebar and the Kontact plugin yesterday. My knowledge about DCOP is rather limited and a few things were confusing for me, so I decided to drop it for 0.3. But I will give it another try soon. ;) - Apr 04 2004

Maybe you need to install qt-dev and kde-dev packages first. - Feb 28 2004

- making more colours configurable than just primaryColor and selectionColor?
- using KWin's global border size setting instead of a windeco-specific one?]
Yes, I plan to do these things. However, don't ask me when. - Feb 08 2004

So this are my goals for eventwatcher 0.2:
- Make the pop-up usable: less intrusive, include only the title and group items with the same title together (ala "kde-apps updated (4)").
- Make the main window more functional: store a history of events and highlight new, unread events. This would also solve the session management problem.
- Split the core up and create a sidebar plugin as an alternative to the (pop-up)+systray+main window solution, not sure about the user interface yet. - Jan 25 2004

What's the output of
find /usr/X11R6/ -iname 'libz*' - Dec 24 2003
In this wallpaper, I don't like the colors used for the background gradient... it doesn't look "professional" to me, don't know why. - Dec 18 2003

But I don't think there is a conflict between plastik and kdenetwork, because I and many others are running them together without problems. That's the first time I hear of such a problem with plastik, sorry. - Dec 07 2003

The widget style you can see on the screenshot is Plastik; get it from http://kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=7559 or from KDE 3.2 kdeartwork. - Dec 04 2003

Yeah, at least in KDE 3.2. Or in the next release on KDE-Look if there will be any... ;)
[BTW: Dd the above project make it into Keramik CVS, and if it didn't do you know why not?]
Yes, it did. - Oct 19 2003
make the height of the titlebar
even a little smaller, 1 or 2 pixels.
The height of the titlebar should equal the height of the menubar, unless titlebar font is bigger.
In that case the titlebar should adapt it's height to the fontsize]
I think this is a bit problematic because the menubar height depends on the menu font and on the style you use, so it isn't possible to acquire it without some dark hacks... :o
[And a problem (bug) I see:
the buttons are not really centered
when you are in fullscreen mode with
"Shrink borders for maximized windows"]
This no bug, it's a feature. ;) Well, it looks a bit strange but it's easier to target the buttons, just throw the mouse to the upper right corner for the close button etc. - Oct 02 2003

Wallpaper Other by shanesemler 5 comments
This is my new default wallpaper. :) - Sep 28 2003
I see your point and I noticed, too, that it's a bit hard to recognize if the frames are raised or sunken.
But I have no idea of how to combine more common frames with the overall design of the rest. My goal of the style was to give all widgets and so the frames a typical look, like the 1 pixel contour, and not _primarily_ to maintain a correct 3d look/lightening etc. and would like to somehow keep it this way... - Sep 24 2003
