I was having the same problem. Added "#include <QPainter>" to the preprocessor section of src/kglwatersaver4.cpp Made it through "make" and "make install" but it's not showing up in my list of screensavers... - May 09 2010

I think it would be great if it displayed the locations of city busses. ...the nearby city of Seattle at least has a map that tracks them. ...not suggesting you add anything for me, but you might be able to bus data from cities in Germany? Just a thought. - May 28 2009

I did the "install widget from local file" but it displays "This object could not be created for the following reason: Could not create a python ScriptEngine for the Log viewer widget."

Running openSUSE 11.1 with KDE 4.2
Am I missing a dependency or something?

...and just to be clear it seems like it installed ok, I was able to add it from the list of widgets, but it doesn't seem to work.

I have no clue about finding/making an svg file for the icons, but I changed all the default png KDE weather icons to my favorite, "old bbc" ...been looking to get a weather plasmoid with those icons ever since I switched to 4.x
