Yes, this is very possible... One would possibly need to create a Theme engine to achieve this, possibly one that can handle SVG! If you created a good engine to handle the SVG then all of this and more would be possibly, I think position of the menus, menu bars etc would be acheived quite easily...

I would happily write an engine for this, if someone were to help me find a tutorial or some documentation on GTK theme engines... - Nov 24 2005
