I think its great that you're doing this, so keep going ;)

I'd change out the orange though, it just doesn't seem to fit with the rest of the color scheme... Maybe a different shade of green, or some such? Or even the same green, with an outline? I see why you kept it distinct, I'm just not sure that orange is the way to do it.

If you're going to create a similar look, you should NOT use their logo. Aside from the fact that its owned by them, its also just about reprehensible to most everyone out there.

I appreciate the effort, but suggest dropping Microsoft Windows and the logo, and replacing it with K or something. - Jan 10 2006

You know what else keeps people away from F/LOSS? People saying silly crap like "/\/\$ 15 +3|-| 3\/1|_!!"

The damn name of the company is Microsoft. If you abbreviate, use MSFT or MS. The more you use M$ and other crap, the more you look like an asswipe to people looking at Linux/*BSD/etc. Effectively, make other F/LOSS users look like asswipes as well.

Now, I really don't see how a satanist wallpaper is going to push people away. These do exist for them thar winder's machines too, ya know.

Oh, btw, I'm agnostic, and if you guys understood what Satanism was, you'd know its different than Satan-worshipping. Glad to see all these well-informed comments. - Jan 06 2006

I was raised Irish Catholic, and I ended up disagreeing with the church (I'm agnostic - mostly because no religion meets my requirements).
