What about something similar for weather forecast? Probably even using plasma dataengines. - Jul 22 2010

Lokking at it seems like if rekonq's gui will be written using it - it will be able to introduce extensions similar to those in firefox (xul based).
Those xul based extensions are much more powerful, then what chromium have. what do u think about such idea? - May 26 2010

What new features do u plan to add?
Last time i've asked about "air like circles" just like in bespin, and now they are there, what's next?
May be u have plans about ARGB? - Jan 12 2010

Like bespin does with air-styled circles.
Looks pretty, imho. - Nov 25 2009

but i think it's a bit too big compared to mercury.
and a bit bigger compared to earth.
though i may be wrong here. - Sep 21 2009

just some things that i'd enjoy:
1. some kind of glow around sun, so it looks more like the real sun. that would be really great) may be simply like corona around the planet, but around the sun. actually i think corona should be moved from planet to the sun, to be more "real life" like.
2. not only corona, but also an "atmosphere" layer around planets. though i'm not sure on this - it will eat actually lots of cpu.
3. moon orbiting earth?
Also sizes of planets compared to sun are a bit off.
still very very nice thing.
i hope you'll make it even better. - Sep 20 2009

May i suggest changing versioning style to more common, smth like, for what we have already, around 0.7.5, or smth like this. imho, looks much more pretty)
also, speaking of packing sources into archive:
ftp://fedor.zeonweb.ru/pub/linux/distributions/gentoo/distfiles/smooth-tasks-2009.09.09.tar.bz2
i've repacked sources of the latest version to be more like it's usually done.

there's yakuake which is also based on konsole and it's a drop-down terminal (quake style, you know)
and i really like more it's approach, where the entire app doesn't close but spawns another konsole session.
at the same place konsole closes it's window when last session exited.
i just mean - plasmoids, imho, are made to stay on the desktop for some time, that's why being able to accidentally remove it is not good (my imho though) - Aug 06 2009
1. Instead of removing plasmoid i think it should restart console session, so if i some day add this plasmoid i won't need to readd it any time soon.
2. speaking of tabs support - imho the "tab bar" takes a bit too much space, if it could be made to look a bit smaller it will be great.
3. still i want to have it as "desktop container" just like folderview can be. This shouldn't be to hard to do, i hope.
and thanks again for great work. - Aug 05 2009
may be a bug report or smth like this: then closing konsole session - it doesn't restart one, so u get empty plasmoid.
As for desktop: atm there are 2 - folder view and desktop. also daisy by some accident is show in this list too now. it's in the desktop settings - type of the desktop. you can have folder view all over your desktop now, and i'd really love to see console there :D - Jul 13 2009

thanks! - Jul 13 2009
BTW, wasn't able to use it, unfortunately. don't know why - plasmoidviewer shows a window with error: could not find requested component "plasmacon.plasmoid" when i run it from konsole with "plasmoidviewer plasmacon.plasmoid" and nothing in the console.
