That's because kicker is so closely modeled after the windows taskbar, Apart from the start menu width, Personally I think the short K-Menu button is just shorter for the sake of looking different than windows, And 'ill use TNT because I like the windows one. - Jan 10 2005

Start means start a process or a program. It makes sense.

Now, You explain to us what the heck does K mean and what makes it more logical to press K, please?

Another thing also, I think it more logical that the start menu button is wider than other menu/toolbar buttons, it is a special button and has a disticntive puropse. - Jan 10 2005
