Sam problem here, both with 0.2(.1) and 0.3 on Debian sid amd64 (0.2.1 from xadras repo).
Trying to play with the source code of the updateMetadata method, it seems the problem is related to spaces in the filename that are rendered as %20s in the arturl metadata (try it for yourself using d-feet or qdbusviewer to catch the d-bus signal): adding "cover.replace("%20"," ");" after "cover.replace("file://","");" seems to solve the problem.
I suppose there should be a better solution (as with the proposed one other characters escaped in a similar way in the path of the cover file would cause the same problem) - Feb 21 2010
