I'm a big fan of the Ubuntu color scheme, so it's really no contest for me.

Both are really nice, though: they retain the elegance of Elegant Brit while adding nicer looking widgets to the mix.

The fonts are Sans and monospace set at 86 dpi with slight subpixel rendering. I also set the fontconfig-config package to use native rendering and always use subpixel rendering, and also use the patches found here:

Nice work! I usually don't like Mac themes all that much, but this one is nice.

I have one suggestion, which is to change


base[SELECTED] = "#e7e7e7"

to

base[SELECTED] = "#C3C9D5".

This increases the color of selected text from light to dark grey, making it much easier to see. - Jan 07 2007
