hum thats weird! could be the setting in your gtkrc file for your theme.

mine looks like this:

gtk-icon-sizes = "panel-menu=24,24:gtk-menu=16,16:panel=24,24:gtk-large-toolbar=24,24:gtk-small-toolbar=24,24"

go to /home/you/.themes/yourtheme/gtk/gtkrc

as to the gimp icon... as lokheed said its impossible to set that since apperantly the thing is hard coded or something

tell me how it goes with the gtk stuff... there is a readme in the gargantuan folder too - May 28 2005
