The files inside the theme tarball seem to be strange. They don't work on non root users if you install system wide (/usr/share/icewm/themes).

Here's the commands to correct this (should work on most UNIX-like OSes):

find Nitrogen -type f -exec chmod +r {} \;
find Nitrogen -type d -exec chmod +rx {} \;

Appologies to everyone trying to download this recently. My website has been down for maintenance. It should work fine now.

Unfortunately I can't upload to gnome-look (too large) and I don't have access to proper web-hosting. I am prepared to host these files because the other Nimbus theme package provider on Gnome-look is having same problem. :-) - Sep 04 2008

It should work on other debian distro's, you would just need change the applications (start menu) logo (2x), they're here:

/usr/share/icons/nimbus/32x32/places/start-here.png

/usr/share/icons/nimbus/24x24/places/start-here.png

Also, you can try using alien to convert to other package formats, see link below.
