I use it for my blogging. I read about blogging capabilties in Kontact/KOrganizer but PyQLogger does it fairly well and is available now (for people not usings KDE CVS).

Why not use the colour red of Adobe Acrobat Reader. Somehow I relate that colour to reading PDF's.

Not that you are forced to use that colour, but merely my opinion as a user :)

you need to remove the word "KPDF" when going smaller then 32x32. It is hardly readable. So I suggest to remove that.

Also not really clear what the background of your icon is. Is this a book, or a shadow of a book? Maybe make it more booklike.
