1) hide the non-matching icons
2) highlight the matching icons
The first one would work well with Konqueror in file manager mode. The second one instead would work very well in the Control Center. See what Apple will do in their next MacOSX: http://images.apple.com/macosx/tiger/images/spotlightprefs20050111.jpg
Both would be quite useful. Any developer listening? :-) - Mar 12 2005

This would be impossible to do it now, kde 3.4 is coming next month and no new strings can be introduced.
tobydox, have you contacted the kde developers? What do they think about the possible inclusion of this one in 3.4? - Feb 18 2005

This thing is too cool to wait ~1.5 years for KDE 4. We want it now! :) - Feb 10 2005

Is this .iso kioslave in kde cvs or only in krusader? - Nov 14 2004

If I may ask, I would like to see another little eyecandy improvement: adding an antialiased black border around thumbnails in Konqueror. As it is now is rather ugly (see http://www.kde.org/screenshots/images/3.2/snapshot11f.png )
It could be something like this:

Keep up the good work! - Oct 21 2004

And with the latest Xorg (composite enabled) kuickshow is unusable.. is this fixed in kuickshow_ng? - Oct 18 2004

However, even if you resized it, it still is too big, expecially when compared to the previous led. I don't want my toolbar to waste precious pixels! Just resize it as the current led and it'll be fine...
Looking forward to see that in KDE 3.4! - Oct 16 2004

By the way, another eyecandy feature you could add is to hide the underlined letters in the menubar (File, Edit, View, ...) until the user press the left Alt key. Windows XP does this way, and it results in a cleaner and more elegant look. Do you think it can be done in KDE too? - Oct 13 2004
