Thanks for your input, memphidoo. I completely agree with you about the background. I've been thinking of a few things. I might have a few more orange cubes falling - in the background - or do something like a gradient (as you suggested) maybe with a light pattern.

Nice work, even if you did adopt the icons from elsewhere.

How ever, I find that the icons greatly (and I mean greatly) slow down Konqueror. What is almost instant with SNOWE takes many seconds - sometimes up to like, 15 seconds - to display the contents of the current directory. I have a Celeron D 2.5 Ghz, an ASUS P4P800-VM and an eVGA 6800 (agp) so I don't think it's my hardware, oh yeah, KDE 3.4. Any ideas anyone?

Let me guess, Terragen? I like it, the clouds are pretty cool too. You might want to do something about the shore line though. If you are using Terragen, I find the sorta serf plugin can add some really nice waves. - Jun 15 2005

Looks good but it does not run. I installed it without any error messages, double click the .desktop file included and in my panel a new app starts with the title "Starting Set-CD-Rom-Speed" and does not go any further. Any Ideas? - Nov 21 2004
