Yakuake

I have to say kudos for such a great app. The command line wouldn't be the same if it wasn't for yakuake. Truly great stuff. - Oct 08 2009

Oh and by the way, why not mention something about this beta on yakuake's KDE Extragear site? At the moment it is very thin on content. - May 06 2007

Kudos for the new release. It comes with lots of changes and bugfixes too. I tell you, I don't go by a single day without running it. It's unobtrusive command line editing at the press of a button. Great stuff! - May 06 2007

It would be nice if the project site had an english section. Those of us who don't understand the language are left in the dark and aren't able to properly inform themselves about the project. I visited the project site and due to it not having a section in a language I'm able to read I didn't even bothered to download and test the program. And it's a shame because it seems very interesting. - Nov 05 2006

Yakuake

Indeed it is. I just have to say that I simply love yakuake. It puts the command line literally a button away and packs as many consoles in a simple and tidy window, just a keypress away and fully navigatable from the keyboard. This makes linux so powerfull and so enjoyable that it should almost be illegal :D

Thanks for writing Yakuake. Kudos! - Sep 07 2006

Although the bug only affects the UI and only very slightly, I believe it is easy to see that it is still a bug. Should it be placed in high priority? I guess not. But it is a bug anyway - Apr 26 2006

It's always a bad sign when the description of an application only mentions how good and important the application is but it doesn't say absolutely nothing about the application itself. Why don't you write a description of the application and let the users and project folks decide that? - Apr 02 2006

Wireless Assistant

Network by pnawrocki 287 comments

I've just discovered this little app while I was searching for a little app that could handle my wireless connection without recurring to the command line (it gets repetitive after a while). This application looks like what I was looking for. Unfortunately I can't install it in my kubuntu 5.10 install.

Are there any plans to create a kubuntu package? That would really come in handy. - Jan 30 2006
