Thomas, for me, the default brushed metal looks too shiny. So, I tint the Brushed Metal but, when I do this, the title bar looks right. However, the rest of window looks, too different from the bar.

In this case, I think you shouldn't bother with a new workaround. I'll upgrade my KDE soon, and, honestly, others should do that too. The problem is that I'm lazy. :) (not really... my son is coming and I'm a little 'busy' with his things).

Well, fist of all, I'd like to thank you for the attention.
I follow all the instructions you post here and the "help" section in Baghira's site. However, keep the same problem.
I'll post an example: I use konqueror with aqua style and Juk with brushed. Think both windows in the desktop. When konqueror get the focus, the top bar (and the menubar into it) appears with aqua. When I change to Juk, the bar looks like aqua but the menubar looks brushed. The rest of the bar looks aqua.
Could be the version of KDE (3.2.3)?

Every time I use brushed style, the top menubar (OS-like) changes to brushed too. It makes the whole thing looks terrible.

Thomas, once I asked you about the fonts you was using in baghira screenshots and received an answer. It may be a little off topic, but I couldn't find anything about what I'll say. I supposed you can provide some tips about this, 'cause I've seen more people with the same problem. Here it goes:
My fonts look "tiny", while yours looks like the OS X, although they are the same (Bitstream Vera Sans). What would you tell me (us) about this? Anything in mind that could be useful?

Thomas, here goes a tip about the konqueror problem:
With 'dcop bab babInterface start konqueror 1 2' it locks.
However, changing the look in bab applet, konqueror works perfectly.
