This would be great for people with litle free disk space. I'm on this situation and currently I have to build each module at a time and then go on to remove the "build/module_name" directory, only then can I go on to build the next one.
The build directories are not needed after install and they take up a lot of space.
And making it an option makes it safe for ordinary unaware people ;).
P.S.: it could even be a per module setting. - Jul 10 2005

Then again you can always maintain 2 diferent versions (one for KDE only and the other for QT), this should not be very dificult to maintain. - Jun 18 2005

And it can certnatly be configured so it adapts itself for being place on the bottom left/right or upper left/right, etc.
Just because it seems a bit like Windows doesn't make it sinfull to use in KDE. People will just have to change their minds about this. If it's a good idea it should be implemented, until a better one apears.
Good work, keep it up. - Jun 12 2005

Please add this kcm to KDE's CVS so everyone can use it. I believe this is not possible for KDE 3.4, but it definitly needs to get into KDE 3.5 (as I read on cvsdigest that 3.5 should be a reality before KDE 4.0).
Thanx for all your work. - Feb 19 2005

But is there any chance to merge/implement this code (or Koffice's missing features' portions of this code) into Koffice?
It would be a great addition to our favorite office suite, and they really need new developers.
Great work. - Feb 05 2005

I've tried it and it worked flawlessly and very fast indeed.
I normaly use it just to see my .mhtml files on Konqueror so I usually select "View file after extraction" and "/tmp" as the output folder. I would find it more usefull that the "View file after extraction" would automatically pick "/tmp" as the default output folder, or at least remember the last used folder.
Thanx again for this great utility and keep it up. - Jan 21 2005

Do you have Mandrake 10.1 rpms for version 0.6 so I can try it out and see how it is going?!
BTW, nice to see you can "browse" inside a mhtml's pictures (and other files I think). That's just a guess from your last screenshot ;)
Keep it up. - Jan 02 2005

Make all "selections" (even in Konqueror's detailed listviews) rounded. All of them and everywhere (even in the "Server" and "Layout" big left side icons in the last screenshot featuring Kdict).
And while you're at it why not also round the sharp curves in the sidebar's black lines wich separate each sidebar tab.
All of this using anti-aliasing ;).
Then I would put a configuration checkbox in the Plastik style to select rounded or normal "selections/widgets", just like the "Animated progress bars" checkbox.
Will this be checked into KDE's CVS? I surely hope so.
Keep up the good work and remember, good gui style eycandy is one of the most important things when it comes to "conquer" new users. - Oct 19 2004

I really hope so.
Thanx in advance for all your work. This feature is extremely usefull. I can't wait to see this integrated into KDE's CVS, and available to everyone installing KDE. - Oct 11 2004

I'd only like to see this integrated into Konqueror itself.
The .mht would then be one of the supported formats of Konqueror. While opening the .mht file Konqueror would automatically do the extraction/conversion and display the page, just like in Windows. It would be great for newbies switching to Linux.
Maybe if you get in touch with the Konqueror developers they'll gladly help you to integrate this into Konqueror. Seems like the right thing to do, now that we can convert .mht files. This type of aprouch is the same as importing MS Office files into Koffice. - Sep 20 2004
