Apologies if there is a better place to file this. I did not find any.

It took a little while to realize that proper ISO Week number is component="Week", but it works. Now, however, I find the number is not updating on Monday mornings. Each week, I need to change themes back and forth or reboot (well, there are other options between the two) to get the week number to update. Otherwise, it just keeps displaying whatever the value of the ISO week was when it was last altered or started. - Oct 28 2013

Yes. Go to Settings|Configure Shortcuts and set your keyboard shortcut for "Show Terminal". It is a toggle, so hitting it twice will bounce you back and forth between a *nix commandline.

You can also set your shortcut to the Kate commandline, but that's not very useful until the next release when it can be scripted. Still, it's neat to have an emacs style command system in place, even if it is currently limited to a couple dozen commands. - Jun 03 2005
How so? I would like to get kate working in the same way that amaroK or Konversation works - always running, and viewable when I click on the system tray icon, and going away (gone from the Task Bar, but still running) when I click on the icon again.

With this I can run:

alltray kate

...and it works fine, with the proper icon and easy toggling of visibility. I played around with kstart quite a bit and could not get it to work. The following:

kstart --tosystray kate

Causes a huge garbled box to appear in the system tray as kate tries to run inside it, and the application frame opens up without an editor. I have to killall kate to get it to go away.

I'd certainly like to have this in a Qt/KDE app - the popup menus don't match the rest of the popups on my system tray, but that's a purely asthetic issue and very minor.

(Oh, and to the author: I verified that the deb package runs fine in Kubuntu). - May 20 2005

If anybody knows why the action icons (which are present and mapped to replace the Konqueror icons) do now show up in the toolbars when you install this theme, please tell me, and I'll update the theme.

Rupert is available for KDE as well - take a look at the Kong icon theme... bringing the juicy goodness of sharing to two bullheaded communities that both were started on the concept of shared work.

Hey, if anyone wants this theme for KDE, just download Kong, http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=925. I'd also like to note that Gorilla is *not* a Gnome theme. It is a Nautilus icon theme.
