I really loved the original... and this one in my opinion isn't better persay, but I do prefer it because it contrasts well with my desktop themes... Awsome work... actually, the rounded corners are a really nice touch as well. keep up the good work! - Dec 27 2004

Hi there... I was really excited about this when I saw it. However, when I gave it a try I was fairly dissatisfied. First of all, it hosed my systray... and then, when I go to try and actually connect to my ftp site, it just sits there working away, but never actually displays the folders or anything. I really hope these problems can be sorted out because like I said, I like the concept... By the way, does anybody know of a way to make my systray normal again without rebooting? - Dec 27 2004

Man, I just love this program so much! it's small and fast, yet it still has any and all of the features that I need, and pretty much none that I don't! please, please kate developers, don't bloat it up or anything... it's perfect the way it is. The only things I find that I don't really like is with the code folding. I'm a php programmer, and any of you who have ever seen php know that it is common practice to begin and end php code like so . The only problem is that the code folding system does not read the short end tag, so when you fold it, it folds the entire rest of the page... If this could be fixed, that would be awsome! - Dec 24 2004

Hey there... I'm pretty new to linux so this is probably a stupid question. From what I read, quanta plus really rocks... however I can't install it. I get past ./configure, and then when I go make, it says there is no makefile. What am I doing wrong here? Thank-you so much in advance for answering... - Dec 24 2004
