However, I dont know how secure that can be, I think a secure password thats easy to remember defeats the purpose. In my experience, using a root password similar to the ones generated from my app takes only a short amount of time to dedicate something totally nonesense into memory. - Jul 19 2004

There is another sys-mon similar to yours, though not flat, but whats neat about it is, it has lm_sensors utilisation thus i get fan speed and cpu temperature. if you dont want to implement it, i understand, but if you dont mind, making "icons" for it so someone who is clever in python can implement it? other than that, i love it!

im at work now so ill check it when i get home.

though if ifconfig is run by /sbin/ifconfig on most systems i deal with it should work fine. /sbin usually isnt listed in standard paths for normals users by default. the program should cause no problem if absolute path is given. so i shall try that when i get home. now its the best monitor! ;-) - Aug 14 2003

i like to see total bytes/megabytes/gigabytes received on eth0. i believe ifconfig will show this information just that one would need to use awk/sed/cut to get rid of the other stuff is my guess - Aug 11 2003

there are three images. one that looks like that was used for this wallpaper. the 2nd one is w/o clothing, and the last one appears from magazine.

i am interested in seeing a wallpaper with her nude in it. no logos. maybe something that just says aki ross.
or a tux penguin in the corner.

gkrell shows that fan works, as well as all three temperatures. gkrell options shows that its called fan1, temp1 .. 3 as expected

i dont know if you saw my screenshot I linked, or not, but on the other monitor, temperature works,s o sensors is working. I use mandrake 9.1 distro, installed lm through the cd.

it plots eth0, but doesnt record any numbers. another program shows the temerature fine. TMon does not :-(

I really like to get this karamba working, best sysmon so far!
