This same jerk keeps showing up under different names. He's a common troll. And not even an entertaining one, just an infantile little prick. Read his comments from other threads, about other people's work.

And I think it's about time that the staff at Gnome-Look cast an eye in his direction. - Jan 27 2005

Infantile people trying to raise a reaction bore me.

But seriously, have you stopped to think about what this person's family might think about his corpse being suggested as a suitable subject for desktop wallpaper? Have you asked them?

Oh yeah, and your I hate KDE "wallpaper" was a pointless piece of crap. - Jan 27 2005

This would look extremely cool on a very light background, with a GTK/Metacity theme that looked like it was drawn in with a dark pencil. - Jan 11 2005

I think it's funny how people click on things they know they're not going to like, just to rant about them.

They're the same ones who climb to the top of ten foot fences just to be able to complain about their neighbor's nude sunbathing. Honestly, people: get a life.

Tim clearly stated what the content was about.

Just sad.

If you don't like the wallpaper, don't use it. And if you can't offer a meaningful and objective critique, keep yer pie-hole shut.

I'm not a bible-thumper, a Christian, or even remotely religious. But I enjoy reading the book of Matthew. Have you ever read it?

Tim's artwork is turning from shit to gold before our eyes, and all you can offer is bile.

Thanks anyway.

But if I made something, I'd almost be afraid to upload it here. Might make some sort of mistake, and anger some brooding god who'd misplaced his scrollbars.

Various KDE 1.-4. Styles by sebaro 6 comments

I think the Win XP colors ARE more usable for a lot of people, especially in a daylight office environment.

Not my taste either, but that's just my taste.

That said, I hate to see someone's effort knocked so low in the points department with virtually no helpful criticism. - Jan 14 2004

new (fat) shiny tux!

Wallpaper Other by abe 9 comments

What I didn't like about it:

The feet look like yellow eggs.
The shiny, 3D look of most of the Tux figure isn't carried through on the body. It looks really flat, circular and boring.

What I did like about it:

The almost psychotic look on Tux's face, due to the different sized eyes, busts me up. :)
It's different; needs work. - Dec 31 2003

"You're either with us, or you're with the terrorists."

Anybody else notice how this fundie drivel has been inundating USA consciousness since 9-11?

I mean, it's like those jets crashing into the WTC turned a key in a door, and instead of the Ghost of Foreign Policy Awareness coming through it, it turned out to be all these little gremlins that Pat Robertson had kept locked up beneath the 700 Club soundstage. And they're hungry and angry. - Dec 11 2003

Wallpaper Other by timbrown527 48 comments

what a way to paint a whole people with a mindless blanket statement.

Not only Christianity and churches are alive and thriving in Germany, but also grass-roots Christian groups.

I lived in Franken (Ansbach) for 11 years; one such group had a fellowship cafe, and handed out newsletters called "Salz und Kerze" ("Salt and Candle") in the marketplaces. Always a warm and open invitation to visit them.
They did kitchens and services for the poor, and shared the Gospel.
