I tried to build a deb package but I got this errors:

checking whether make sets $(MAKE)... (cached) yes
configure: error: cannot run /bin/bash ./config.sub
make: *** [config.status] Error 1
dpkg-buildpackage: failure: debian/rules build gave error exit status 2

How will I fix this?

Obviously, I got this error when I installed the fakeroot package from ubuntu repo. I have the same error too when I tried to compile this via ./configure --prefix=/usr. I'ven been successfully compiling this before via this command; It's only now I'm getting those errors after installing the fakeroot pacake...

Unfortunately in the Colors tab it says "The current controls theme does not support color schemes". I have other themes which I can customise the colors thru this tab, but this one (Glossy) everything is disabled in the Colors tab. What will I do then? BTW I'm using Ubuntu Hardy... - Aug 13 2008

I found out I have the Glossy theme. I've changed the settings and it seems that it works. I am not sure though whether I've change the correct lines or colors (I've changed only some of the colors in the very first line of the codes there). I'm a newbie indeed! Pls tell me which lines in the gtkrc file I'm going to change using the colors you've provided... - Aug 12 2008

GTK2 Themes by walmis 28 comments

Thanks for your advises. The name of ubuntu package needed to compile this is "python-gtk2-dev". Just get it from repo.

BTW I downloaded the .deb file for Gutsy and I got an error the time I tried to install it. The error is "Error: Dependency is not satisfiable: libc6". I wonder why cause I have this "libc6" already installed in my machine and there should be no problem. - Mar 27 2008

I did install through the command line and it seems it was forcibly installed, though still there seems to be errors. Take a look:

I looked at the Synaptic Package Manager and obviously there is broken dependencies for gtk2-nimbus-engine.

I hope you can figure out what causes this problem. - Mar 18 2008

Please help... I tried to install it but a dependency problem occurred:

Error: Dependency is not satisfiable: libc6

I did sudo-apt-get install libc6 and the following were installed from repo: libc6, libc6-dev and libc6-i686

But still the problem remains. I have ubuntu gutsy installed in my machine. Any help is appreciated. tnx - Mar 16 2008
