What are you talking about? tar.gz uses gzip compression, hence the .gz extension.
If you want better compression, use tar.bz2 (bzip) - Apr 24 2006

I don't really understand what you mean by "link". Do you mean colour it like the default kde theme? If so, I don't know how seeing as the close you're going to get is a blue (aqua) theme which is available without ruining the "aqua" effect which is the whole point of the theme. - Feb 01 2006

I'm afraid I don't know what you mean exactly. Perhaps if you had a screenshot I could help.
The HMTL is rather limited so it is unfortunate that I had to compromise on the bottom-left corner of all the boxes except the main one. - Dec 30 2005

This is great!

Why can't people put functionality before prejudices. If things work, it doesn't matter if they're similar to other systems (Windows) - they're probably there because they're proven to work well.

This is not to say that this is the same as Windows XP, but if it were, that wouldn't be a bad thing considering the state of KDE's menu at the moment! - Jun 19 2005

I totally agree. Too many radios would be confusing, whereas a simple "Expert Options" button would do just fine.

A great improvement though. I don't think it should stop at konqueror though. Why not make the whole kcontrol application available with different levels of customiseablility? - May 25 2005
