do you have icq or aim or something?
i mean, you could always write the spec file from scratch, or copy one of the templates krpmbuilder uses, and edit that, but krpmbuilder is nice and simple to use, i dunno why it shouldnt work for you... - Jan 13 2005

i'd rather have source rpm files, so that i can make gpg signed packages for more than one architecture.

also, where is the settings dialog box for mtaskbar?

nah, you better fix it so that it saves its settings...

running the 0.3 here, it does not create a config file, and as such starts "good as new" every time. - Nov 15 2004

naa.. that's not what this screensaver is about.

besides, the way i understand subconscious learning, it wouldnt work with something as complex as kanji and their readings.

but feel free to grab my source and build from it. its GPL'ed after all ;) - Oct 09 2004

that depends on which fonts you have.
compile it with --enable-debug=all and start it from a konsole (kannasaver.kss --test) and you'll get a list of all the fonts you have that are usable, as well as which fonts are used (on top of the list).
you'll need to download the latest source for this (i uploaded it yesterday evening). - Oct 08 2004

ok, the debug code is gone. now, if you configure it with --enable-debug=full and start it from a console, you get a list of all the fonts it has found usable on your system.

btw, could someone who is not using suse 9.1 and kde 3.3 try to compile it, and give me feedback? - Oct 07 2004

you absolutely have to configure the sources with --disable-debug, otherwise all you get is the message that it cannot find suitable fonts. leftovers from implementing that message. shall fix that ASAP and upload the modified source (most likely this evening). - Oct 07 2004

I have an additional install source for yast2, it contains some useful stuff for suse 9.1.

go to yast2, "change installation source", add a FTP source. server is ftp.eregion.de and path on server is /pub/SuSE91

After that, you'll find an extra selection named "eregion extra stuff" in yast2 software selection. feel free to peruse it. - Oct 07 2004
