However, it's probably the only app which you can put into a KDE panel and has acceptable look and functionality. Aside Kirocker, there's nothing, you can't even get a good clocks, calendar or weather report. It seems almost nobody seriously uses the KDE panel as a side panel. So I left KDE side panel for Screenlets. It doesn't work as a retractable/hidable panel (thumb up for KDE panel), however at least it has a large selection of applets and looks great.
So it would be great to see Kirocker ported to the Screenlets as well, because it is a great applet and would have therer way more users! - Nov 23 2007

But anyway, let's rememind unexperienced users, that for everyday use, there are much better options how to create menu(s) in KDE. You can have separate multiple menus in your panel - i.e. Multimedia, Graphics, Utilities, etc.
That's much faster, as you can access your favourite apps just with 2 clicks... - May 25 2006
I tried to help with testing and made some hacking to get the look and usability I wanted, but I couln't use it as it didn't read most of my CD's.
So I'm looking forward to this new version! - May 07 2006
