Could you offer any help?
In any case, it's a great style, and I'm sure people appreciate that it's been packaged as an RPM, too. - Dec 15 2004
In nay case, will it work on KDE 3.2, or only KDE 3.3 and upward?
I'd love for this to work on KDE 3.2, it's a really sweet little style. - Dec 15 2004

1.) Simplicity. A clean, usable style. Not too busy. Yes, the speaker is overused, but so what? This is one of the few speakers that are actually pretty.
2.) Colour choice. Nice and bright, and the icon remains sharp and clean at all sizes.
This one's a winner. - Dec 09 2004

There are a few formatting issues regarding American/Canadian letter standards that I've made known to the author, but they are not bugs, just a small wishlist.
Another request: Can we also have the ability to save letters in different formats (kWord, etc.)? Or at least, to save letters in whatever "Kletterwizard" format? I know it's Latex, but can this be done?
All in all, great program, and well worth the download. - Dec 08 2004

Focus on kOffice. A "made-for-Linux" suite that is far more worthy of our attention. It is already KDE-aware, fully integrated. - Oct 25 2004

Now, can you make one for other distros? I know you're probably a huge SUSE fan, but if you have the time, can you make one for Mandrake? Perhaps Gentoo?
Very clean, simple, and incredibly usable.
Nice work. - Oct 21 2004
BUT, I got this error:
checking for lt_dlopen in -lltdl... no
* configure: error:
* *** Couldn't find ltdl library. If it is installed in a non-standard
* *** location, please supply --with-ltdl=DIR on the configure command line,
* *** where `DIR' is the prefix where ltdl is installed (such as /usr,
* *** /usr/local, or /usr/pkg). If that doesn't work, check config.log.
*
***** Return value 1
Where can I get ltdl? I don't seem to haev it. I'm running Madnrake10. - Oct 18 2004
I think your icons will continue to spend alot of time at the top of the kde-look "highest rated" list.
Thank you for your hard work. - Oct 15 2004

kWord, along with the rest of kOffice needs to be developed to reach its fullest potential. It's well on the way. I use it for everything, and have not encountered a single bug. A few minor inconveniences are present, but they're easily wored around.
Congrats to the kOffice team for their dedication and hard work! - Sep 19 2004

A question though: I like your desktop screenshot! What is the font you use in the window titlebars? What is the colour scheme you use? Especially on the buttons . . ..
Nce work. - Sep 06 2004

A few things:
1.) As a way to clear up the EXISTING clutter on your desktop, basket is at its current stage, useless. BUT . . .
2.) As a way to put files somewhere (right from the Web) INSTEAD of just vomiting them on your desktop, basket is God's Gift. ;-) Just toss them in the basket, and your clutter stays out of the way until you feel like filing things way. Brilliant.
Now for my idea: I notice that when active, basket is represented by a window that reminds me of konqueror. It's great, but it looks pretty big and takes up alot of space. So, why not have an option where basket can reside as an icon on your desktop into which you can drag and drop things, and when you want to view them, you can click on the icon to "reveal" the basket contents? Or, maybe have the system tray icon accept drag and drop files? It would just make navigating a bit easier. Sometimes basket gets stuck behind browser windows and I have to do some rearranging.
Otherwise, basket is a BRILLIANT little app!! Thanks for the hard work! - Aug 30 2004

This is incredible. It will certainly have a HUGE impact on the way we skin Linux . . . if it works, and skins a fair amount of the desktop elements.
Wow. Please finish this. - Aug 26 2004

You know how I feel about your work . . . I left a message on your site, so there's no need to repeat it here. One thing: the up/down/back butons looked a bit better before, but that's not a big deal. Especially in light of all the new applciation icons and the new action icons. The home folder icon looks amazing, thanks to the new detail on the roof. I like the fact that the little shortcut marks on icons are now arrows instead of just dots.
Alot of nice touches here, and some cool improvements. DEFINITELY worth the download. Nothing beats Nuvola.
By the way, nuka's new Firefox Nuvola theme goes beautifully with this set. - Aug 06 2004

2.) Instead of bitching about it, why not ask the guy nicely to repackage it?
