I actually think that there is a need for the ':)' and ';)' etc. links for icons. So it is possible to use it more 'out-of-the-box'.

Indeed, when I look at the thumbnail, it looks pretty neat. But the full size wallpaper is just ugly.

It really shouldn't be that hard to get real good quality images and resize them.

You need to get rid of the edges with some with pixels. You should also get rid of the various Tux pictures, because it doesn't look professionel at all.
