Hi

Some problem with custom gradient in gtk themes - if I set for example custom gradient 1, if look well in kde but lost their settings (colours and positions) in gtk2 (I use qtcurve native port for gtk2) - so question is how to fix it ?

Man it is great, but

can you modify two things (or make it selectable)
- comboboxes look esspecially near tabs (gradient doesn't look good :) )
- button frame is black, could it be selectable....

I had the same problem and solved it - look at the previous posts (main posts)

or look at ~/.qt/qtrc ustomPanel... line which is broken as you see...

or go to baghira/config directory and fix it in kstyle_baghira_config_cpp line 426 - if I remember (there is ustomPanel.. bug) - Jul 05 2004

Hi, great work, especially the new Aquarius style, but I have found some bugs:

General problem with panel:
1. rounded taskbuttons don't appear after switching it in config dialog; it needs to edit qtrc in .qt directory by changing smoothListViewHeaders=true (it doesn't change itself)
2. custom panel color doesn't work, similarly like above I have to change one line in qtrc (c letter is missing): ustomPanelColor= -> customPanelColor
3. kicker bevel looks ugly (take a look at the screenshot http://pronet.lublin.pl/~marekm)
4. is a possibility to set a pager color in some way, because in some colorset it doesn't look nice...


more bugs after more testing...:)

For anybody who can't get brushed metal look:

cd to the directory with latest baghira source:

$cd baghira-0.3s
$cd bab
$cp bab /usr/locl/bin/
last command do as root

cd ..
!!remember copy icons !! to yours current iconthene directory

then press Alt+F2 and type bab

you should see aplet like looking like bab, so try press it with left or right mouse button, for more explanation see readme file in baghira source directory

i am sure that baghira work in brushed style (seehttp://linuxcult.com/gallery/entry.show.php?s=a67b297269ed3516e329bc850217f4eb&entryid=1904 )

and don't bother thomas, he should work in quiet on next release...:)

New Baghira style seems faster, but:

1 Clever tabs are always like tabs, not chooser, as they sometimes should be,

2 Kicker bevel seems broken, previous versione looks better,

3 IMHO previous stipples look better, mayby is is a good thing to make it choosable...

sorry, icons should be copied
now everything works well...

but th problem with groups still remains... To be more clear, after switching to brush look at the baghira conf dialog - groups inside other groups aren't brushed...

I have a question?

How des bab shoud be instaled?
cd bab/
make install
is this a propoer way?
and there is no any paw in the systray but somethink like 'no icon' icon, menu doesn't contains some options excep for restore and quit.
Nothing like white or black paw doesn't change...

Style ofcourse works, but there is no brush in groups (still striple).
