Thanks for suggesting use of Nordic's palette for dark theme but I'll try to improvise it from yaru's color palette as I feel like I'm comfortable with using that.

Alternatively could you in your free time open a GitHub issue ticket, so that I'll not forget to iterate on the dark-shell theme - Mar 09 2021

I’ve seen couple of your themes on gnome-look.org, really nice ones and very distinct
To get to the topic, I see that you’ve managed to bring yaru to metacity, cinnamon themes

Alternatively, you can use gnome-software instead of Ubuntu-software as it uses the GTK-theme and icons applied by the user without any issues

To install gnome-software (On Ubuntu):
sudo apt install gnome-software

Here's the thing:
This theme does not work with Snap Apps (Ubuntu-Software is a snap app)
To avoid clear-transparent screen for Ubuntu-Software, use gtk+inspector tool to revert to Ubuntu system-theme for Ubuntu-Software app (Only this app)

Steps to Revert theme for Ubuntu-Software:
Open terminal and type:gsettings set org.gtk.Settings.Debug enable-inspector-keybinding true
Open Ubuntu-Software app with default system theme (Yaru theme)
Press Ctrl+Alt+I to open Inspector
Navigate to Visual Tab
Change the GTK+ theme to Yaru (Ubuntu's default theme)
Close Both Inspector and Ubuntu-software
Open Gnome-Tweaks and change Application,icons and shell theme to Yaru-blue

Now open Ubuntu-Software app, it is no longer clear-transparent and instead uses default theme
