as far as I have seen, GTK3 apps tend to work poorly with this icon set: I think they expect icons to be in SVG format, in order to be scaled to whatever size they need to be (which is nice since screens may have an arbitrary pixel density).
I haven't investigated much into how to solve this problem with fixed-sized raster icons.
Also, since I published the latest version for this theme, a lot of new icons have been included in default themes (including "symbolic" versions for them), which definitely need to be added to this set.
Unfortunately, currently I don't have the time to invest into this icon set to make it usable again, so do not expect any update soon... Sorry! Anyway, thanks for the interest! - Mar 10 2016

I still have to add some icons to mine (especially for KDE desktop standard apps and some more). Yours also has some very interesting mixes, and many other stock icons I didn't include in mine. Will I also be able to reuse them, with due credit?

I've added the dropbox icon to v1.01, although I'm not sure this is the cause, because Dropbox installs its hicolor icon. Dropbox also installs some emblems in a non standard directory (non standard for normal icon themes, I mean). These are probably handled by dropbox internally, so I won't create any icons for these.
Anyway, I don't use the Dropbox nautilus add on, so I can't check if now it works... hope it does!
