Recently, Kubuntu 7.10 failed again (KNetworkManager never liked my laptops an d I never liked it). Wireless Assistant again did it.
Love it. Thanks pnawrocki. - Oct 25 2007

Do you have any plans to port to Windows platform or when KDE4 (http://wiki.kde.org/tiki-index.php?page=KDE4+Windows+Port) starts running on Windows platform, TaskJuggler will simply run?

1. I just wanted to avoid mouse clicks. Clicking on the submenu is already there and is very obvious. If you keep the timeouts configurable I think we are there. Any idea what timeout default kde menu uses?
2. & 3. : I guess 'idem' means 'almost same'. Yes they are. It will be good if one has too many items in the list. This will reduce scrolling.
4. Not a very important one. But,if there are several levels (which is confusing anyway, but one may need it) in the menu, then the traversal path is lost.
This is how I keep my menu:
submenu1 --
.........-- item1 (frequently used)
.........-- item2 (frequently used)
.........-- item3 (frequently used)
.........-- separator--
.........-- item4 (less frequently used)
.........-- item5 (less frequently used)
.........-- item6 (less frequently used)
.........-- submenu1-1
.....................-- item7 (rarely used)
.....................-- item8 (rarely used)
.....................-- item9 (rarely used)
This perfectly fits in Tasty Menu if "submenu1-1" is folded by default. Then I can expand it when required. Otherwise this list will have too many items.
The configuration dialog is also nicely done. It is clean and intuitive. - Jul 26 2006

A few suggestions which you may consider:
- It would be nice if I rest my mouse pointer on a submenu in the middle for a while (ex. 200 - 400 ms) and the right column lists items. It can be made configurable.
- The right column may have an option to show only name or desc or name/desc as it is right now.
- Icon sizes can be made configurable for middle and right column separately.
- Submenus on the right column may expand like the standard kmenu rather than showing it right there.
Overall, very good work. Keep it up. - Jul 26 2006

Thank you very much. I live in India where BSNL is one of the leading DSL service provider. KNet just works.
Why not have it in KDE main itself... - Jan 16 2006
