2) Isn't it possible to add some stars along with moon? Its trivial to do that in sodipodi/inkscape.
3) That glow around the moon -- ends abruptly. The way you've shown it is as if moon has an atmosphere, which is reflecting sunlight. In reality, such glow (or halo around the moon) arise due to scattering of light in earth's atmosphere.. so it should be visible all around the moon, regardless of the lunar phase. - just a note for perfectionists :-)
4) Might look better and more realistic if the blueness in the illuminated parts - leaves, book etc. - is reduced a bit.
So much for the comments. But I have a question too: That open book and moon in the sky - May I ask, why such a subject? Are you trying to convey any message in that wallpaper? - Jun 21 2004

Isn't that good enough? Do we really need a script and "convert" for this job? I mean.. if that is enough and let the KDE resize the icons, then why do we need to pack icons in various different sizes? I'm sure there is some catch, but I'm unable to figure :-( Perhaps it takes more resources to rescale them on the fly? Anybody can clear my doubts and throw some light there?
Thanks in advance.. - Jun 12 2004

Oh, btw.. great work. Its only because of you that I'm re-compiling kdebase and kdelibs now with drop shadow patch. Been going on for the last 2 hours :( - Jun 07 2004
If this is a modification of an existing artwork, please give credits to the original authors/creators. Afterall you released it under GPL, right?

Incidently, I use kde3.2b2. kicker is unaffected by baghira settings. For eg. it refuses to put transparent menus. Perhaps some mismatch with the new transparent kicker settings and baghira settings. Rest is fine. Waiting for the kde-3.2 version.

I find this line: "include baghira.h" commented in the file widget-style/polish.cpp. make fails without including baghira.h, please check.

Though I don't agree with your ideas, I liked the wallpaper. Its good! You know, I prefer dark backgrounds on my desktop, since they are soft on eyes. This one is just right.
By the way, I would use a text like "Heavens declare the glory of nature" :-) well, thats a matter of different views. - Oct 25 2003
I was looking at the old comments posted up there.. somewhere I saw WinterWolf saying "I think your theme rocks but I am a linux newbie so please help me install it"

2) The wallpaper.
Where can I get them from? - Aug 14 2003
Basically, there is some old version of libz.a lying around in your /usr/X11R6/lib. Does nothing useful. You can delete it. And do the Knifty configure, make again. - Aug 05 2003

Is it not possible to change the config file from ~/.ksmoothdock to ~/.kde/share/apps? Why keep it separate from the rest of kde? Thats more convinient for users also. - Jul 03 2003

Possibly configure picks up an outdated version
installed by XFree86. Remove it from your system.
Check your installation and look into config.log

Is it a bug? Because it seem to have detected the X libraries correctly, stops at libz and complains about xfree86 (don't know if xfree86 installs any libz). I am using redhat9.0 on i686 (PIII) - Jun 07 2003

1) In the "configure acqua" tab, there is an option for update-interval. What is that for? I tried putting in some value for that and saw the shadow of the active window becoming bigger and thicker with time :-(
2) If I use "focus follows mouse" and "click to raise", then we run into some strange problems. Suppose the active window is behind another one... you see the window border + shadow of the active window on top of the other window. Gives a glass-slab-on-the-window effect :-) Can it be fixed?
Apart from those, it is just right! This should be a trend-setter...
Cheers!
