hi,
i like the idea
and the behaviour
as i know it from File-Selectors
(didnt compile and test yours till now)

what i am missing is the ability to edit the path:
how about doing the slashes between the words as simple links to the path
(for example coloring them in blue like in a Web-Browser)
You would be able to jump to the path and to edit the words in between.
(certainly i would prefer to see the slashes as folder-icons ;-) ) - Feb 22 2007
